They have excellent thermal insulation properties and minimal shrinkage at high temperatures. Fire Resistance Boards are the ideal products to use in the construction of fire bricks for wood burning/multifuel stoves, lining of the fireplaces/ingelnook openings, lining of pizza ovens etc. Among other applications, providing fire protection exactly where its needed.
The boards are tested to withstand temperatures of up to 1100 degrees C. Large Vermiculite board for making your own Firebricks. Perfect for lining your stove, BBQ or outdoor oven/cooker! Our associated company have been installing stoves for over 30 years using various vermiculite insulation boards, they advise that these boards are the smoothest and srongest that they have used.
