80cm Kadai Fire Bowl/Pit with Stand and Grill made from forged iron/sheet steel

  

Used 80cm Kadai fire bowl/pit forged in iron and sheet steel. It comes with a robust steel circular stand to raise it off the ground and two fire grills. All items are in a very good condition. The fire bowl/pit on its own is 26cm high and is raised to 46cm on the stand.

It has two handles for carrying it around - the handles drop and make it easy to store it (when the bowl/pit is stored and covered with a sheet of plywood, other items can be stored on top of it). The bottom of the bowl has a small hole for any water to drain should the bowl/pit be kept outdoors when not in use. This Kadai can be used as a fire bowl/pit (wood burner) without the grill(s) or as a BBQ with one or two grills (it takes wood and/or charcoal). The fire bowl/pit was always stored in a dry shed when not in use. When in use it was filled with a layer of sharp sand to protect the base from being "burnt out" - the layer of sharp sand also acted as an insulator preventing the gras below from being burned when the bowl/pit was placed on a lawn; in addition it raised the fire so that a small fire wouldn't "disappear" in the depth of the bowl.
